Isle Royale

Lake Superior’s Isle Royale was a favorite “local” destination for the first two decades of Underseas Scuba Center’s existence. In so far as modern camcorders and underwater housings had yet to be introduced, Bruce was doing a lot of still photography — and getting his photos published in a number of places.

That’s Sandy on the cover of the 1981 Seatec catalog. In the center is an article featuring Bruce’s photos in Scubachrome Journal. The background photo is from a two-page spread in the German Tauchen magazine.
