Whether you are a woman diver or have a special woman diver in your life, you can join thousands of other female divers around the world to partake in the PADI Women's Dive Day this Saturday, July 15, 2017. If you're not sure what to do, we've put together this fun list of four things you can do to celebrate women in diving this year.<\/p>\n

4 things to do on PADI's Women Dive Day:<\/h2>\n

1. Find an event near you<\/h3>\n

PADI Dive Centers and Resorts hosted more than 700 events in 77 country's last year! With this number sure to grow this year, there is definitely\u00a0a fun event to be found near you. You can visit PADI Women's Dive Day website<\/a> to search for an event near you.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>2. Get your BFF or favorite lady in your life certified!<\/h3>\n

If your favorite lady isn't a diver yet, what better time to get her in a class then for Women's Dive Day? Here at Underseas Scuba Center we have on-going PADI Open Water courses<\/a>, and with the PADI e-learning program, your favorite lady can start her class at home online today! Stop in or give us a call to learn more.<\/p>\n

3. Organize an Underwater Clean Up<\/h3>\n

What better way to celebrate any sort of dive event than to clean up the underwater world that we love! Organizing a clean up is super easy. Just invite all of the divers you know out to your favorite dive location, pair everyone up, make sure each team has a mesh bag to collect trash in and dive in! To make it even more fun and competitive you could hold a contest for things like most trash collected, most interesting thing found, biggest piece of trash found, etc.<\/p>\n

4. Take diving to the next generation<\/h3>\n

\"\"<\/a>As women scuba\u00a0divers, it's important to educate the next generation about how amazing the sport of diving is. Consider\u00a0celebrating PADI Women's Dive Day by reaching out to a local Girl Scouts troop or other girl's organization to do a presentation on diving and ocean conservation. Maybe you could even schedule a snorkeling trip with them!<\/p>\n
