I need to gain more experience before I take another class?” Well…isn’t it even better to gain more diving experience under the supervision of a dive instructor? As a new or long-time diver, diving with a dive instructor is never a bad thing. You will always learn something and improve your diving.

Reason 2: Try New Things

Taking an Advanced Course is like eating off of a sample platter. You’ll get to do five fun dives, with minimal pool and homework, that will give you a taste of fun things you can do underwater while diving. Doing navigation and deep dives are required, but then you get to choose 3 other specialties that interest you! Every want to take photos underwater or dive into a wreck? Operate a lift bag? Dive at night? These are just the tip of the iceberg of diving specialties waiting to be explored.

Reason 3: Kick-Start Your Diving Specialties

The great thing about the PADI Educational System is that it’s been designed to maximize your advancement potential. Each of the 5 dives you do during your Advanced Diver Course covers the requirements for the 1st dive in each of those individual specialties. For instance, if you do a night dive, that dive will count toward the first of the 3 required night dives needed to get your Night Diver Specialty Certification.

As you can see, you don’t have to be an advanced diver to take this course; this course was designed and intended to advance your diving. The goal of almost every diver is to feel more comfortable and confident while under water. Taking an Advanced Diver Course is the first step to increasing that comfort level.

Sign up for eLearning Today

Three of reasons why you should become an Advanced Open Water Diver as soon as possible regardless of your dive experience.

[7
82,81,84,86,85,83,6
post-377","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-dive-training","tag-advanced-diver","tag-advanced-open-water-course","tag-deep-dive","tag-improved-diving","tag-night-dive","tag-padi","tag-scuba-diving","cat-7-id
["GET
