The last thing you want is to be stuck out in the middle of the ocean, living on a boat, and NOT have dive accident insurance if you get bent or injured diving.<\/p>\n<h3>Bring A Sweatshirt and\/or Rain Jacket<\/h3>\n<p>Yes, you may be going to a tropical location where it's nice and toasty....during the day. \u00a0However, you will be living on the water, therefore, without all of that land to suck up the heat during the day, it could cool off at night. \u00a0Also, many boats tend to change locations later in the evening so that ocean wind could get a bit chilly.<\/p>\n<h3>Pack SMALL!!<\/h3>\n<p>Liveaboard rooms can be tiny. \u00a0Luckily you won't be spending much time in them anyway. \u00a0However, they can tend to get cluttered quickly. \u00a0<strong>TIP #1:<\/strong> Try out vacuum type ziplock bags to pack your clothes in. \u00a0You won't need much: a couple swim suits, shirts or sun dresses and PJ's, but compacting them in a large baggie will allow you to pack it all up into smaller suitcase. \u00a0<strong>TIP #2<\/strong>: Bring some kind of small, collapsible storage bin to keep all of your odds-and-ends in one spot in your room.<\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/underseas.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/solar-charger.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-411\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-411\" src=\"https:\/\/underseas.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/solar-charger.jpg\" alt=\"solar charger\" width=\"130\" height=\"130\" \/><\/a>Bring A Solar Charger<\/h3>\n<p>Your stateroom (bedroom in boat lingo) will have a limited number of electrical outlets. \u00a0And chances are, you'll be sharing a room with someone, so you'll have to share it. \u00a0We highly recommend investing in a small solar charger. \u00a0This way you can charge your electronic devices wherever and whenever you want.<\/p>\n<h3>Be An Early Riser<\/h3>\n<p>Our last tip to getting the most out of your liveaboard experience is to be an early riser.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong><em>The early bird gets the worm.<\/em><\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>This is definitely true for liveaboard divers. \u00a0What could be better than diving just as the sun is rising and the reef is just stirring to life? \u00a0On top of that, you'll have the reef all to yourself before any of the day boats (or even your fellow liveaboard dive buddies) descend on it.<\/p>\n<p>Using some or all of our Liveaboard Diving Tips and Tricks will make your diving adventure better than you could have imagined!
